Community Funds
Abilene Gives
A one-day, annual, online giving event in May run by the Community Foundation of Abilene.
On this day, the citizens of Abilene can choose to donate and support the many non-profit organizations in the community. The funds donated to AWCF that day are used for the daily operations of the AWCF.
Education Funds
Abilene Educational Endowment, Inc.
Held by the Community Foundation of Abilene in coordination with a committee of AWCF members.
Donations to this fund allow the AWCF to award multiple scholarships for Non-Traditional Local College and University students. It also funds our Girls of the Month program that honors local students from local junior highs and middle schools who have been selected by their teachers and counselors.
